Members of the Montpelier Contra Dance committee, along with volunteers, roll up the floor-protection mats, dust-mop the dance floor, and set up all the rest of what we need to open the dance at 8:00 PM If you're interested in volunteering to help out, please contact MCD committee member Jody Pettersen: jodypettersen@gmail.com On the first Saturday of every month (with a few exceptions for holidays), we host a Community Potluck dinner, which is open to all, and free! Please join us in the Lower Level of the Grange Hall, which (since March, 2023) is accessible via the wheelchair lift, so that everyone can attend, including those with […] Before the dance starts at 8:00 PM, the dance caller will do a quick "intro to contra dancing" for newcomers, and anyone else who wants a refresher. Usually a few experienced dancers join in to help out. We hope you will join us!

We will be blowing cellulose into stud cavities, to dense-pack the spaces. The additional insulation will reduce moisture transfer to the newly painted exterior siding, and will reduce our heating load. If you want to volunteer to help us, please contact: Tim Swartz, swartztim15@gmail.com
