From 5:00 to 6:00, the Grange Lecturer presents: Stephanie Yu, the new Executive Director of the Public Assets Institute. Stephanie Yu will describe the opportunities to use the legislative budgeting process to advance social, racial and economic equity. The talk will be based on PAI's "State of Working Vermont 2022" report, issued in December 2022. […] Members of the Montpelier Contra Dance committee, along with volunteers, roll up the floor-protection mats, dust-mop the dance floor, and set up all the rest of what we need to open the dance at 8:00 PM If you're interested in volunteering to help out, please contact MCD committee member Jody Pettersen: jodypettersen@gmail.com Before the dance starts at 8:00 PM, the dance caller will do a quick "intro to contra dancing" for newcomers, and anyone else who wants a refresher.
