MAIN HALL – Rapper Workshop
Rapper Sword Dance Workshop: Saturday, November 21st, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Montpelier Capital City Grange (6612 VT-12, Berlin, VT 05602). Rapper sword dance is a fast-paced English folk tradition where a team of dancers performs interwoven patterns, linked together by flexible steel swords. Taught by the talented Sam Overbeck and organized by Noah and Heather Harrison, this workshop is open to everyone, regardless of prior dance experience. Admission is on a sliding scale of $20 to $45. Please bring a water bottle and clean dance shoes (hard soles if possible) to protect the floor. Bring a lunch or a potluck dish to share. Come try something new, moving fast, and having fun!
