OPEN HOUSE–a “Taste of the Grange”

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED!

We are hosting an “Open House” event to celebrate our being granted a property tax exemption by the town of Berlin for the next 5 years, and to showcase the variety of entertainments, activities, classes and events that happen at our Hall.   We hope to attract people from the town, as well as from the surrounding “Capitol Region” of central VT, and beyond.

For this event, we will have information tables about many of the regular events that happen at the Grange Hall, plus Performances by some of the groups that meet/rehearse/teach/dance here.  Among those we hope to have are:

African Drumming with Jesse Rosenfield

Afro-Caribbean Dance

Morris Dancing

Scottish Dancing

Musicians from the Northeast Heritage Musical Festival

PLUS:  Sing-a-longs, kids’ activities, pizza donated by a Farmers’ Market vendor (whose wedding was held here), and a

POTLUCK DINNER anchored by

Macaroni & cheese

Baked Beans

A large salad
