Before the dance starts at 8:00 PM, the dance caller will do a quick "intro to contra dancing" for newcomers, and anyone else who wants a refresher. Usually a few experienced dancers join in to help out. We hope you will join us!
Contra dancing is joyful and community oriented — and it always involves some risk. We are requiring that all dancers wear masks to help keep our dance safer while COVID is still afoot. "Top to Bottom" chimney service will be re-building the top of the chimney, on the South gable end of the Hall. No disruption is expected for anyone inside the Hall during this work.
