Grange meeting–special date for January

Our monthly Grange meeting is moved to the 3rd Saturday of this month, thanks to the winter storm which was predicted for Jan. 3rd. We’ll be talking about many issues:
- Our new sign, and how it is bringing new attention, and new rentals!
- Our heating bill, and how the new burner and thermostat are reducing usage. Bill Chidsey has been monitoring it remotely, and coordinating pre-warming the Hall for renters
- Progress on researching tax breaks which Grange Halls across Vermont are getting from their towns–and about the best way to get some tax relief for our Hall.
- As well as the usual reports on Agriculture, Legislation, Health Concerns, Home Economics, the improvements being made to the Hall, and more.
