Grange “Barbecue/Community Potluck Dinner”–outside!

On the first Saturday of every month (with a few exceptions for holidays), we host a Community Potluck dinner, which is open to all, and free!

Saturday, Aug. 3, we’ll have an outdoor potluck and barbecue!

We’ll be setting up tables on the North end of the Grange Hall, by the ADA entrance ramp (weather permitting of course!).  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move to the Grange’s fully accessible Lower Level!

The Montpelier Senior Jazz Ensemble will provide live music before the meal, come early to enjoy it and help set up!

The Grange will provide grilles (charcoal and propane), plus hamburgers, vegan burgers, hot dogs, buns and condiments…and ice cream cones!   You can bring other tasty treats, like:

• Appetizers

• Soups

• Salads

• Chips

• Salsa & dips

• Breads

• Cheeses

• Side dishes–veggies, rice pilafs, potatoes, you name it, we’ll eat it!

• Desserts–cookies, cakes, pies

• Beverages–cider, juices, carbonated beverages, etc. (all non-alcoholic, please!)

• We always have great-tasting (and well-tested) well water.

We’ll use the Grange’s great selection of vintage china and melamine plates and dinnerware, and we’ll welcome volunteers to help to wash up after the meal.

We hope you’ll join us to meet some new folks, re-meet some old friends, talk over what’s happening in the Grange and the rest of the world!
