Main Hall 1:30 to 3:30: Celebrate Weston’s Mobile Home Park Residents!

Join us for cake (at 1:30) and community dancing (from 2:00 to 3:30)! We’re celebrating the achievements of the residents of the Weston Mobile Home Park, who formed a “resident’s co-op” and purchased the Park on Jan. 3rd!
David Kaynor, one of the best known dance callers for community and contra dances will teach and call contra dances, circle dances and more for people of all ages–kids to senior citizens! Bring your friends of all ages and enjoy dancing together. Musicians from the VT Fiddle Orchestra, which David directs, will provide live music. Fun will be had by all!
With help from Annik Paul of the Institute for Cooperative Development, the residents of the Weston’s park organized themselves to be a self-governing ownership group. The Park has come a long way from when it was flooded by Tropical Storm Irene in 2011, and had to be rebuilt. The Grange has been happy to host the meetings of the organizing committees through this process, and looks forward to hosting events for the Park’s residents for the future.
