Grange Program: Using social media to get younger folks involved and voting
October 1, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
In this month’s Grange Program, we’ll hear how an organization works to get younger folks interested and involved in elections, using social media.
Andy Forrest of “Feel Good Action” will describe how the organization works with micro-influencers on social media to “turn Viewers into Voters”. They worked to encourage young voters in particular, in the Nov. 2020 election, and are continuing that work now. It’s work people in any state can be part of, because social media crosses state lines.
Here’s a link to the website for this organization: FeelGoodAction, and here’s a link to their Facebook page.
Interesting side-note: Andy is the brother of Grange Chaplain Alison Forrest. He helped dig the trench to bring the power wiring to the “new” Grange sign in 2014, while visiting Vermont!
