We’re back to having potluck dinners!

For the first time since March 7, 2020 we feel it’s safe to have a community potluck–on the back porch, most likely.   Hope you can join us!

Every month, on the “First Saturday”, the Capital City Grange is pleased to host a Community Potluck, where we hope all kinds of people from Berlin, Central Vermont–and the wider universe–will join us to share food and conversation.

People come from the Grange meeting and/or program that precedes the potluck, or because they just want a good meal, and know that there will be a variety of salads, main dishes, breads, soups, meats, vegan dishes, desserts, dips and spreads, chips, beverages–the menu is constantly changing!   Some people come because they will be dancing at the contra dance that comes a little later, at 8:00.   Some people come because there is always someone interesting to talk to–it might be someone who has presented the program, or a Grange member, or a local celebrity, or a musician or caller–we draw an interesting crowd.

Bring a special dish you like to share, or a bag of chips, or a carton of milk, or a birthday cake you don’t want to eat all of!   There is always lots of food, and lots of variety.

We eat on real plates, with real silverware–and a few volunteers wash up and socialize afterward.  No paper plates, please!

You probably plan to have dinner–why not make it easy and come to the potluck?
