SUMMARY:Community Potluck dinner in the Lower Level!
DESCRIPTION:Once again\, we’ll hold a tasty potluck dinner\, featuring tasty food and a chance to catch up with other members of the Grange community.\nAs usual\, we never know exactly what will show up\, but we invite everyone to bring what they want to share\, whether it’s a salad\, a loaf of bread\, a main dish or a side dish\, beverages\, desserts or whatever!  It’s a chance to share not only food\, but what else is going on in our lives\, to discuss what we talked about in the Grange meeting\, and just to socialize.  We know everyone is still making up the deficit of social interaction we’ve all experienced in the last 2 years plus. \nWe are asking that only people who are vaccinated come to this event\, just like the Grange meeting that precedes the potluck.  We continue to watch the public health statistics as we make our best judgement about how to balance safety for everyone.  We will be running the 4–Room Air Filter Boxes to continuously filter the air\, providing the equivalent of about 5 air changes per hour.   If the weather is warm\, we may be able to open the windows and use some fans to move fresh air in and out! \nWe have always had more than enough food\, so if you don’t have something ready to bring\, come anyway!

DESCRIPTION:Will Mentor calling to Aaron Marcus and Joanne Garton \n \nThe Montpelier Contra Dance is excited to announce that we will be restarting our dance series\, beginning Saturday\, April 16\, 2022\, from 8–11 pm! We are scheduling dances on May 7\, May  21\, June 4 and June 18 as well\, with hopes to continue dancing into the summer if the restart goes well. \nContra dancing is joyful and community oriented — and it always involves some risk. We are requiring that all dancers wear masks and be fully vaccinated to help keep our dance safer while COVID is still afoot. We ask for your help and cooperation with these extra safety measures. Full COVID details at: capitalcitygrange.org/dancing/contradancing \nOur dance uses gender-neutral role terms\, and we strive to be a safe place for everyone to dance.  Beginners\, singles\, and all ages are welcome; all dances are taught. \nWhen: 1st and 3rd Saturdays\, 8–11 p.m: newcomers lesson offered around 7:40 pm \nWhere: at the Capital City Grange in Berlin (located on Northfield Street/Route 12 just south of the I-89 overpass)\, \nCost: Admission is $12 for adults\, $5 for kids or low-income\, $20 for dance supporters–choose the right price for your budget! \nWhat to bring: We suggest light\, comfortable clothing — expect to wear short sleeves or a tank top\, even in winter. DESCRIPTION:Luke Donforth calling to Dave Langford and Colin McCaffrey \n \nThe Montpelier Contra Dance is excited to announce that we will be restarting our dance series\, beginning Saturday\, April 16\, 2022\, from 8–11 pm! We are scheduling dances on May 7\, May  21\, June 4 and June 18 as well\, with hopes to continue dancing into the summer if the restart goes well. \nContra dancing is joyful and community oriented — and it always involves some risk. We are requiring that all dancers wear masks and be fully vaccinated to help keep our dance safer while COVID is still afoot. We ask for your help and cooperation with these extra safety measures. Full COVID details at: capitalcitygrange.org/dancing/contradancing \nOur dance uses gender-neutral role terms\, and we strive to be a safe place for everyone to dance.  Beginners\, singles\, and all ages are welcome; all dances are taught. \nWhen: 1st and 3rd Saturdays\, 8–11 p.m: newcomers lesson offered around 7:40 pm \nWhere: at the Capital City Grange in Berlin (located on Northfield Street/Route 12 just south of the I-89 overpass)\, \nCost: Admission is $12 for adults\, $5 for kids or low-income\, $20 for dance supporters–choose the right price for your budget! \nWhat to bring: We suggest light\, comfortable clothing — expect to wear short sleeves or a tank top\, even in winter. Please bring clean\, soft-soled shoes to preserve our floor. Bring a water bottle to refill at our water fountain/bottle filler.
