MONTPELIER CONTRA EXCHANGE

Contra + Cajun: music by Alec Ellsworth, Pete Sutherland and Lee Blackwell and calling by Mary Wesley (with a mini Cajun workshop)
Dances every second Saturday: a long first half of contra dances, a mini workshop before the break, and a short second half of a featured dance such as blues, swing, waltz, Cajun, English, Scandinavian or advanced contras.
The Exchange is an inclusive, intentional community for all. Our dance is a creative, informal, and accessible space for contra dancers to learn and practice new dance skills together. We strive to foster a welcoming, respectful, comfortable and vibrant dance atmosphere.
