Grange’s mandolin man finds use for floorboards

Retired dentist Mike Ziegler explains the process of converting old floorboards from the Capital City Grange in Berlin to pieces suitable for use in creating his mandolins and picture frames.
FCCGH Meeting Nov. 11th
Next meeting of the Friends of the Capital City Grange Hall will be on Sunday,Nov. 11th at 7:00 PM, at the Hall. We'll be discussing the (by then) recently completed floor project, progress on our grant applications for further renovations, and beginning a capital improvement plan to guide our efforts over the next few years. Meetings are open to anyone who wants to lend a hand to our efforts to improve this community resource!
The Mission of the Friends of the Capital City Grange Hall
The mission of the FCCGH is to ensure the long term sustainability of the Capital City Grange Hall on Northfield Street in Berlin, Vermont as a venue for the public performance of and participation in traditional dance, music, song, and other arts and as a meeting place in Central Vermont for individuals and organizations. To accomplish this end, FCCGH will support the maintenance, improvement and public promotion of the Capital City Grange Hall and any other activities that may further these purposes.
